2020-2021 Summer Reading Assignment for new AP Lit students

All incoming AP Lit students are required to complete the Summer reading assignment and will be held academically accountable for doing so. Read these​ full-length directions.

STEP 3: Once the school year starts up, you will receive academic credit for:
- turning in both the handouts you completed
- writing an essay in response to a prompt referencing the books you read over summer.

Late Fees start October 20th.
Students taking AP exams at Temecula Valley High School must register for exams by October 20 to avoid any late fees. For the 2020 AP Exams, the cost is $99 per exam. The last day to register for exams is November 15th. Any exam order after the November 15th will have a $40 late fee and would not be refundable at any time. The absolute last day to register (with the $40 late fee) and have an exam ordered on time is 11:59 pm, March 13, 2020.
AP Readiness sessions are FREE college visits that help  students improve AP Test results & include transportation to/from school.
  • Pick up & Return permission slips to College & Career Center
  • Reserve your session online at www.apr.ucr.edu
  • Extra credit is provided for each session of AP Lit prep a student attends 
  • Dates: October 5, October 26, November 16, December 14, January 25, February 29, March 7
